If you think about it. They grew up "together" so it would probably be completely natural? Once puberty hit it might have caused some discomfort but due to the shared thoughts I would imagine it wouldn't be that much.

Is it me or does Takashi never seem to appear happy? Which, actually, is pretty accurate as WW2-era Japan was still very conservative and outward displays of emotion were greatly discouraged. But Sarah has a talent for period, as I'm sure we all can recognize.

Woowwwww. Really impressed. The skin you draw is amazing, looks so three-dimensional, and your characters' expressions are great. Moreover, cool storyline. Will be keeping my eye on this.

Heheh, just had a silly reading experience. I haven't caught up to this series for months or something, and there's no archive page, so I was trying not to read the pages while flipping back, but sort of did XD ; ...and thought that someone said it ended here, and on the page before it 'he's dead.' And I was all O: Takashi's a ghost! Luckily it wasn't ended so fast.

Yeah, after reading, I totally think the father's after him.

@Big Red Penguin: I don't think Takashi's family is particularly rich; that car looks military-issue to me, so I think it's just the base car dropping Takashi off at home.

@ohwilleke: Um... he's in Japan. I'm pretty sure that every other female he knows besides Elanor speaks Japanese. XDD

Totally loving the scenery in the first panel, btw. So beautiful! And I'm intrigued as to who the mystery woman on the phone is.

What other Japanese speaking female could it be? Even if it isn't her, wouldn't it be someone arranged by her? Her birthday is his birthday, right? The use of the word "dreams" couldn't be accidental, could it?
